Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Introduction

Welcome to Real Automations ("we," "us," or "our"). We take pride in building custom intelligent automation systems and bespoke AI-powered software for businesses.

This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms under which cancellations and refunds are handled for our services. By engaging our services, you ("the Client") agree to the terms set forth in this Policy.

2. Payment Terms & Deposits

2.1. All projects require a deposit of 40% to 50% of the total project value to commence work, as specified in your individual Project Proposal or Service Agreement.

2.2. Milestone payments may be required throughout the development lifecycle as specific targets are met.

2.3. All payments are processed via Paystack or direct EFT, as agreed upon during the onboarding phase.

3. Cancellation Before Project Starts

3.1. Clients may cancel their project at any time before work has commenced.

3.2. If cancellation occurs before any planning, discovery, or development work has started, a full refund of the deposit will be issued, minus any Paystack transaction fees (which are non-refundable).

4. Cancellation After Project Kickoff

4.1. Once planning, discovery, or initial development has commenced, the initial deposit becomes non-refundable to cover the time and resources allocated to the project.

4.2. In the event of a cancellation mid-project, we will issue a refund for any unearned amounts, calculated as the total amount paid minus the value of the time spent and costs already incurred (e.g., software licenses, infrastructure setup, discovery sessions).

4.3. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to our official contact email.

5. Completed Projects & Post-Delivery

5.1. No refunds will be issued for work that has been completed, delivered, or deployed to the Client's production environment.

5.2. We provide a 7-day warranty period starting from the date of final delivery. During this time, we will rectify any major defects or bugs that deviate from the agreed-upon project specifications at no additional cost.

Refunds are not provided for minor subjective preferences once the project has been approved and delivered.

6. Non-Refundable Items

6.1. Paystack transaction fees are never refundable under any circumstances as these are retained by the payment processor.

6.2. Third-party costs incurred on behalf of the Client (e.g., API credits, server hosting, domain registrations) are non-refundable.

6.3. Any milestone payments that have been reviewed and approved by the Client are considered final and non-refundable.

7. Refund Process & Timeline

7.1. Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days from the date of approval.

7.2. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used (Paystack) or via EFT at our discretion.

8. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

Please include:

  • Your Project ID or Invoice Number.
  • Reason for the request.
  • Preferred contact details.

9. Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on our website, and the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Policy will be revised accordingly.
